Royal Mail has confirmed it has withdrawn planned strike action in the next two weeks (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th and 10th November). 

Royal Mail and the Communication Workers Union (CWU) have planned talks at Acas on Monday 31st October 2022. 

They will continue to do all they can to keep business, companies and the country connected. 

Australia

Flooding continues to cause delays across Victoria and New South Wales. The delay to scheduled deliveries and collections varies by area.

Victoria

New South Wales

Portugal

Correios de Portugal has confirmed strike action taking place on Monday 31st October and Wednesday 2nd November 2022. 

As a result, delays will be expected for both inbound and outbound mail items.

El Salvador

Further to the update from 14th October 2022, El Salvador operator, Correos de El Salvador wishes to inform that heavy rainfall has ceased and postal services have returned to normal.

Belgium

Bpost of Belgium has advised of 24-hour strike action planned for 9th November 2022. The industrial action will affect letter and parcel mail, as well as Bpost’s domestic and international logistics networks. As a result, delays with the processing of inbound and outbound mail are to be expected.

Italy

Poste Italiane has advised of 24-hour strike action taking place on 21st October involving air traffic controllers at all Italian airports. Disruptions are to be expected with regard to handling of inbound and outbound mail from Milan’s Linate and Malpensa airports. 

Canada

Following the previous post on 7th October, Canada Post has confirmed that operations have returned to normal following Hurricane Fiona.
