Truck drivers launch nationwide strike: Media sources reported that the Indonesian Truck Entrepreneurs Association (Aptrindo) announced a nationwide strike across Indonesia on March 20 to protest against the ban on freight transportation for the 2025 Eid period, which limits freight transportation operations from March 24 to April 8. Disruptions to logistics are likely.

            Aviation workers to strike nationwide again on March 16 and 18: Updated media sources reported that air transport across Italy will be affected by another nationwide strike on March 16. The 24-hour strike was called by the Flai Trasporti e Servizi union which represents ground handling workers. Workers of Techno Sky, the operator of Milan Malpensa Airport (IATA: MXP) will be on strike from 12:00 to 16:00 local time on March 16. In addition, SEA Prime workers represented by the USB Lavoro Privato union will carry out a 24-hour strike nationwide on March 18. Disruptions to flight operations are to be expected during and after the strike actions.

            The designated operator of Italy, Poste Italiane, wishes to inform that certain Italian unions called a strike on 13 and 14 March 2025. Consequently, there may be delays in the collection and delivery of both domestic and international parcels, as well as EMS items.
