The postal operator of Slovakia has confirmed that the Slovakian Government has implemented strict lockdown measures throughout the country with effect from 25th November 2021. Furthermore, a national state of emergency has been implemented for 90 days. The national lockdown will have an effect on postal delays due to a reduced workforce.
Liechtenstein Post AG has advised that owing to the fourth wave of COVID infections, it is having to introduce staggered home deliveries of letter items with effect from 29th November 2021.
Letter post items for postcodes areas 9490, 9494 to 9498 will be delivered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The remaining postcodes will be delivered Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Poste Italiane has confirmed that a 24-hour strike has been called involving personnel working in the airports of Milano Malpensa and Milano Linate (MXP and LIN). The strike started at midnight and will end at 23h59.
Delays may be expected in both the handling of inbound and outbound mail.

Canada Post has confirmed a state of emergency has been declared in the province of British Columbia, owing to adverse weather conditions including flooding, rockslides and mudslides.
Road closures and damaged railway lines and bridges are affecting transportation and delivery across western Canada, and both inbound and outbound letter and parcels flows are suffering disruption.
