Canada Post has confirmed a state of emergency has been declared in the province of British Columbia, owing to adverse weather conditions including flooding, rockslides and mudslides.
Road closures and damaged railway lines and bridges are affecting transportation and delivery across western Canada, and both inbound and outbound letter and parcels flows are suffering disruption.
