Spain

Airport workers are planning multiple strikes over the forthcoming weeks, which is expected to go into September 2019. Aena airport workers plan multiple strikes at Bilbao Airport between 1st July and 1st September. The planned strike dates for July are as follows: 1st, 7th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 28th and 31st. Flight cancellations have already been announced and further disruptions to airport operations are to be expected.

Poland

The Polish Transport Union have called for a general strike on Friday 28th June. More than 7,000 truck drivers will go on strike against EU Mobility Package Form adopted in early April. This is likely to cause delays to both inbound and outbound mail.

Truckers from other European countries are likely to participate in the strike.

Italy

Poste Italiane has confirmed that postal operations in the Sardinia region (postcode areas 07010 to 09199) are now back to normal.

Cyprus

Tuesday 25th June will be an unplanned public holiday due to the death of the former President, Demetris Christofias. As a result, all mail services can expect a 24-hour delay.

Bhutan

Its the start of the monsoon season and heavy rain has resulted in flooding and landslides, which have blocked roads in most parts of the country. This means all inbound mail will face delays.
