Poczta Polska has confirmed there was a problem sending EDI messages to the IPS system for import and export mail. This has been reported and being looked into.
Poste Italiane has advised that severe delays are still being experienced in processing postal items due to serious IT problems in Italian customs.
This is affecting all shipments from outside of the EU. Due to these technical issues once shipments arrive in Italy they are currently facing delays of at least several weeks before being processed by customs and delivered by Poste Italiane.
Deutsche Post has advised that due to the rise of covid infections amongst staff and in view of measures to limit the spread of the virus, delays are to be expected in the processing of inbound and outbound mail items.
Australia Post has advised that their daily operations are experiencing disruptions due to severe storms and flooding across the country but especially in the states of South Australia and Queensland and the Northern Territory. The processing of both inbound and outbound mail items is affected.
Poste Maroc of Morocco has advised that the processing and delivery of inbound and outbound postal items has returned to normal.
