Australia Post has advised that the Sydney office has been closed for 48 hours due to covid for deep cleaning to ensure the safety of all staff and others.
The closure will have a direct impact on the processing and delivery handover of all inbound mail items in Sydney during this time.
Afghan Post has advised that owing to the current situation at Kabal International Airport it has suspended all domestic and international postal services until further notice.
The Department of Posts, Sri Lanka has advised that the Government of Sri Lanka have confirmed that due to the further spread of coronavirus the national lockdown has been extended until 21st September 2021.
Mail is still being delivered during this time but delays are to be expected.
