Afghan Post has advised that owing to the current situation at Kabal International Airport it has suspended all domestic and international postal services until further notice.

Due to the current situation in Afghanistan, we currently can’t accept new mail items and have paused all services. We will continue to review the situation and will post and update when the situation improves and services can resume. 

Afghan Post has confirmed that mail operations have returned to normal following the terrorist attack in April 2019.

Afghan Post has confirmed they are working to restart operations following a terrorist attack on their headquarters on Sunday 13th April 2019. Services impacted include customs and international outbound mail and the systems supporting the mail movement.
