There are some further unexpected delays in the US as a result of Tropical Storm Isaias from last week – allegedly one of the strongest storms to reach the East Coast areas in years, causing extensive damage and power outages. The storm has impacted airlines, airline terminals, container freight stations, truckers, FEDEX, DHL, UPS and the Post Office deliveries around the affected areas, creating some challenges. 

Occasional delays of 2-3 days are still being experienced due to the current COVID-19 situation. We will keep you informed of any developments. 

Due to a reduction in flights because of the coronavirus, we are currently experiencing delivery delays of 1-3 days to the USA. We are working with our suppliers to resolve this and will keep you informed of developments. 

Please be advised our US office will be closed on Thursday 28th November 2019 for Thanksgiving. We will be open as usual on Friday 29th November 2019. 

We are also expecting a 24-hour delay with services in the US due to Thanksgiving celebrations. 

United States Postal Service (USPS) has advised that it experienced EDI interruption on Monday 28th October 2019. Service has now been fully restored, however, data transmissions are currently backlogged. USPS expects everything to return to normal by Wednesday 30th October. 

An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 in the Mojave Desert, California has damaged roads and infrastructure in San Bernadino and Kern County. Several 4.0 aftershocks have been reported in the area and are expected to continue throughout the week.
