A massive power cut has hit large parts of Spain and Portugal.

The head of Spain’s electricity network said earlier that restoring power could take between six and 10 hours. No further information is available at this time.

Heavy rainfall causes flooding in parts of Oklahoma : Media sources on April 27 report that torrential rainfall caused flash flooding and road closures in parts of southwest Oklahoma, United States, on the evening of April 26. Affected areas included Oklahoma City, Lawton and Norman along with several roads like Interstate Highways 35 and 44. Business and transportation disruptions are likely.

The Rep. of Korea, has advised all postal deliveries will be suspended on 1 May 2025.

 As a result, the delivery of postal items arriving in the Rep. of Korea on or around that date may be delayed by one day.

Shipments face 24-hour delay following technical issue with customs system: Intelligence received by Everstream Analytics on April 24 reported that a technical issue with the Automated Base for Networked Customs (BADR) has led to delays in import and export shipments. A 24-hour delay is expected for all dutiable shipments. Local authorities have been working to resolve the disruption. The issue is believed to have begun on the morning of April 24.

This industrial action may affect the delivery of mail and parcels within Belgium. There is also a possibility of slight delays in the handling and departure of international shipments.

Heavy rainfall causes flooding in Pangkalpinang: Media sources on April 22 reported that heavy rainfall caused flooding in parts of Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Indonesia, on the afternoon of April 21. The most affected areas include Gerunggang, Girimaya, Gabek, Bukit Intan, Taman Sari, Pangkal Balam, and Rangkui Districts, where floodwaters with a 20-40 centimeters height were reported on roadways. It remains unclear when the floodwaters will recede.
