Serpost and the Government of Peru has advised a state of emergency of the national road network and demonstrations in place. Delays are likely to be experienced as a result. 

Servicios Postales del Peru S.A. (SERPOST) has advised that freight carriers initiated a strike on 4th April 2022. As a result, the Peruvian Government declared a state of immobilisation on 5th April which will result in delays in the processing of all inbound and outbound mail items. 

Peru’s Post has advised the suspension of all inbound and outbound international mail by order of the government for 15 days. Jorge Chavez International Airport is closed following the country’s declaration of a state of emergency in response to the coronavirus outbreak. Postal services in Peru are suspended until 30th March.
