Cayman Islands Postal Service has confirmed that none of its postal facilities has suffered structural damages following Hurricane Ian and all services have returned to normal.

Cayman Island Post have confirmed that all postal services have been restored following the passing of tropical storm Eta. 

Cayman Island Post has confirmed it has suspended all postal services from 13:00 (Eastern Standard Time) due to the approach of tropical storm Eta, which has potential to cause flooding in postal facilities. 

The Cayman Islands Postal Service has advised that the Cayman Islands Government has extended the suspension of most passenger flights until Thursday 1st October 2020, as a continuing measure to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The Cayman Islands Postal Service is unable to guarantee compliance with quality of service or delivery standards applicable under UPU rules for any class of inbound or outbound mail. 

The Cayman Island post advises that all postal services are temporarily interrupted due to 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck the Caribbean on 28th January. As buildings, roads and utilities are assessed for damage, non-essential staff have been instructed not to come to work at present. 

Cayman Islands Postal Services has advised that the problem with the transmission of EDI messages has been resolved and all operations have returned to normal.
