CTT Correios de Portugal has advised that the lockdown announced in EmIS 56/2021 has ended. However, the authorities are still monitoring the situation carefully, and CTT Correios de Portugal will continue to operate under the current restrictions and safety guidelines. Moreover, the processing of outbound mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) is still liable to be delayed because of continuing uncertainty about international transport, and transit à découvert and closed transit operations for both letter mail and parcels via Portugal remain suspended for the time being. Measures to gradually resume normal operations continue to be implemented, and inbound standards are steadily improving.
