OPT-PF – Fare Rata of French Polynesia have confirmed that the recent lockdown has ended.
French Polynesia Post has advised that due to flight cancellations they are currently unable to fulfil the delivery of international mail. As a result, all mail items are being held at the international mail hub until services resume.
The Office of Posts and Telecommunications has confirmed that strike action came to an end on Thursday 11th July.
French Polynesia has advised that an open-ended strike was called by postal workers throughout French Polynesia from Monday 8th July. Both inbound and outbound mail service will be disrupted during this time.
