The designated operator of Greece, Hellenic Post, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that, in the light of the new import requirements introduced by the US executive order dated 30 July 2025, it is temporarily suspending the acceptance of open and closed transit items containing goods destined for the United States of America. This measure will take effect on 22 August 2025, in accordance with article 17-013 of the Convention Regulations. Any transit or misrouted items containing goods that are destined for the United States and arrive at Hellenic Post’s international mail processing centres will be returned to origin.

Hellenic Post & Thailand Post wishes to inform you that, in light of the new import requirements introduced by the US executive order dated 30 July 2025, it is temporarily suspending the acceptance of open and closed transit items containing goods destined for the United States of America. Hellenic Post have advised that the Confederation of Greek Workers and the Association of Civil Servants have announced a 24-hour strike on Wednesday, 9 April. The air traffic controllers have also announced their participation in the strike.

This action will affect the collection and delivery of both international and domestic mail.

The designated operator of Greece, Hellenic Post has confirmed that the Confederation of Greek Workers and the Association of Civil Servants have announced a 24-hour strike on Friday, 28th February. The air traffic controllers have also announced their participation in the strike.
