Philippine Postal Corporation suspends international surface mail service: Intelligence received by Everstream Analytics on August 18 reported that the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) suspended all outbound international surface mail services from the Philippines. The measure is due to increasing operational and conveyance costs and will remain in effect until further notice.
