Royal Mail has advised that heavy rainfall has caused severe flooding with many roads closed.
The collection and delivery of mail items has been suspended since 18th February in the following postcodes prefixes: DE, HR, SY, TF, WR and WV.
Further updates will be updated once the situation has returned to normal.
