The designated operator of Denmark, Post Danmark, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that, in the light of the new import requirements introduced by the US executive order dated 30 July 2025, it is temporarily suspending acceptance of open or closed transit items containing goods destined for the United States of America. This measure will take effect on 23 August 2025, in accordance with article 17-013 of the Convention Regulations. Any transit or misrouted items containing goods that are destined for the United States and arrive at Post Danmark’s international mail processing centres will be returned to origin.

Further to EER No 26, PostNord Denmark wishes to inform other operators that the ITMATT data transmission issues have been resolved.

Post Danmark, has advised that it has been experiencing ITMATT data transmission issues since 28 April 2025.

The issues are expected to be resolved within a few days. Until then, Post Danmark will strive to avoid the dispatch of items without ITMATT.

PostNord Denmark has confirmed the resumption of services to Belarus and the Russian Federation. 

PostNord Denmark has confirmed that the suspension has been lifted and normal operations have resumed.
