The designated operator of Belgium, has confirmed the blockades have been lifted at various sorting centres.

However, targeted strikes may continue throughout the bpost network, especially in the Brussels region and the south of Belgium.

As a result, significant delays are to be expected in the collection, sorting and distribution of domestic and international letter post and parcel post (both inbound and outbound) throughout the country.

We are pleased to confirm that an agreement has been reached with the Unions and as a result, all actions will come to an end in the South of Belgium and Brussels.

The designated operator of Belgium, bpost has confirmed that the major Belgian unions have called a 24 hour interprofessional strike commencing at 00:01 CEST on 13th February 2025. 

This industrial action will likely affect mail and parcel deliveries as well as bpost’s international logistics network. 

Furthermore, this strike may extend to Friday 14th February 2025 will also involve ground handlers and other airport and airline personnel. Therefore disruption and delays are to be expected in the handling of inbound and outbound airmail arriving at Brussels airport.

This industrial action may affect mail and parcel deliveries both domestic and international.

Furthermore, the strike will likely also involve ground handlers and other airport and airline personnel. Therefore, distruption is to be expected with regards to the handling of inbound and outbound mail items at Brusssels Airport. 

Belgian Unions have called a 24-hour strike action at Bpost commencing 22:00 CEST on 27th February 2023. 

The industrial action will likely affect mail and parcels in Belgium. 

They will do their utmost to minimise impact and apologise for any inconvenience.

The major Belgian Unions have called for a day of manifestations and strike actions across all sectors, commencing 00:01 CEST on the 9th November 2022.

The industrial action will affect the handling, processing and delivery of mail and parcel items. As these manifestations and strike actions will be happening across all sectors, the services of the partnering ground handlers and airlines will also be affected and delays are to be expected.
