Flash flooding in parts of Zapopan, Jalisco: Media sources reported on June 25 that heavy rainfall since the afternoon of June 24 has caused flash flooding in parts of Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico. According to reports, floodwater had reached up to 1.8 meters in certain areas, including Sonora Street. Roads and train tracks had been submerged. Rainfall across the broader Guadalajara region has also been recorded and authorities are currently assessing structural damage. Lingering business and logistics disruptions are to be expected until floodwaters recede. |
