Iran 17.06.2025

The designated operator of Iran (Islamic Rep.), Iran National Post, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that all international airmail services (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) have been suspended following the airstrike on Iran on 13 June 2025. This suspension will remain in effect until further notice. Iran National Post remains committed to restoring international postal operations as soon as conditions permit.

Israel 16.06.2025

All national infrastructure has transitioned to emergency mode.

The following measures have been implemented:

  1. Public gatherings and regular civilian activities are currently prohibited.
  2. Citizens are instructed to remain in protected areas.
  3. Operations at all ports have been suspended.
  4. Flights and all other transportation services have been halted.

 Israel has transitioned to remote operations, and deliveries will be limited during this period. Despite these changes, IT systems remain fully operational, ensuring uninterrupted tracking services.

Further to EmIS 037/2025, 047/2025 and 082/2025, the designated operator of Italy, Poste Italiane, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that the postcode areas affected by ongoing disruption are as follows: Pontassieve/Via del Sasso 50065 Borgo San Lorenzo 50032 Sesto Fiorentino/Via di Palaia 50019 Sesto Fiorentino/ Via Baroncoli 50019 Poste Italiane is taking all necessary measures to minimize inconvenience for customers and restore normal operations in the affected areas as soon as possible.

New Delhi-Indira Gandhi International Airport to cancel 100 flights daily: Media sources reported that around 100 flights will be canceled or rescheduled at the New Delhi-Indira Gandhi International Airport (IATA: DEL) in New Delhi, India, daily between June 15 and mid-September. This is the result of works on one of the airport’s primary runways. Further disruptions may occur.

Airport workers threaten to go on strike: Media sources report that workers at several airports in Italy are threatening to go on strike on June 13. Disruptions to flight traffic in cities such as Venice and Milan are possible during the duration of the strike.
