Heavy rainfall causes flooding in Taichung City and Nantou County: Media sources reported on July 30 that heavy rainfall has caused flash flooding in parts of Taichung City and Nantou County, Taiwan, on the morning of the same day. According to reports, in Taichung City, roads such as Liberty Road in Central District and Zhongyong Road in Nantun District were waterlogged. In Nantou County, flooding has been reported in Zhushan Township, Xinyi Township, and Nantou City. Several power outages have also been recorded in Zhushan Township. Business and logistics disruptions are to be anticipated until floodwaters recede. |
