Lithuania

Lietuvos paštas has advised that the Government of Lithuania has extended the full national lockdown until 30 June 2021, in order to control the spread of COVID-19.

While the lockdown remains in place, postal services will continue to operate subject to certain restrictions. The processing and delivery of all types of inbound and outbound mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) will continue to be affected, and Lietuvos paštas is unable to guarantee compliance with the usual delivery standards. Therefore, the situation of force majeure declared in EmIS 637/2020 will continue to apply.
