Airport operations disrupted due to security threat: Media sources report that in the early hours of July 3 flight operations at Vancouver International Airport (YVR), Canada were temporarily disrupted after a bomb threat was received at NAV Canada’s air traffic control tower. In total, bomb threats prompted evacuations and security lockdowns at six airports across Canada including Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL). Operations were affected for several hours on the same day, but began to return to normal. |
