Vietnam

Vietnam Post has confirmed that a large number of their operations are currently disrupted due to a large number of their employers contracting covid. Processing and delivery of all inbound and outbound mail is affected and delays are to be expected.

Portugal

Correios de Portugal are still experiencing delays in services due to staff shortages owing to covid infections. Please bear with them during this time. 

Netherlands

PostNL has confirmed that storm ‘Eunice’ is causing operational disruptions. PostNL have been arranging additional processing capacity to try and deal with the backlog caused by the extreme weather situation. 

Hong Kong

Hongkong Post has confirmed that all airmail staff have been required to undergo multiple Covid tests as from 6th February and to work from home until they receive a negative test result. 

Consequently, operations at airmail centres have been severely affected with functions reduced to a minimal level. All mail processing and transportation have been disrupted. Quality of service for all types of mail will be affected until further notice. 

Canada

Canada is currently experiencing service delays across the country owing to varying weather conditions which is affecting the processing and delivery of inbound and outbound postal items.

Ukraine

The postal operator of Ukraine, Ukrposhta has advised that owing to the Russian Federation’s military actions, martial law has been declared.

Ukrainian airspace is temporarily restricted for civilian air transportation. Ukrposhta is currently seeking alternative routes with other EU postal partners, however, until a clear route has been put in place all services to Ukraine are experiencing long delays. 

Latvia

Latvijas Pasta has advised that due to the number of covid infections amongst operational staff and temporary closures of several post offices, there are significant delays in the processing and the delivery of inbound and outbound postal items. 

Jamaica

Jamaica Post has confirmed that the Government of Jamaica has extended the national curfew until 25th February 2022. The revised working shifts/hours will continue across the whole postal network, affecting sorting, collection and deliveries on inbound and outbound mail. 

Portugal

Portugal is experiencing a fifth wave of the pandemic with unprecedented numbers of infections, including among the staff of CTT Correios Portugal. This has resulted in a high rate of absenteeism and consequently disruption to services. The processing of outbound mail (letter,  post and parcel items) is subject to delays to continuing uncertainty regarding international transport.
