Hong Kong
Hongkong Post has confirmed that operations at airmail centres have returned to normal.
China
China Post has confirmed that to prevent further transmission of covid-19 the processing of inbound and outbound mail is temporarily suspended at Changchun and Yanji processing centres, as well as the Shanghai office of exchange and Shanghai airmail unit.
Thailand
Thailand Post has confirmed that the Thailand Government has extended nationwide emergency for a further two months until 31st May 2022. The covid restrictions previously announced will continue to apply.
Channel Tunnel Delays
There are delays on both sides of the tunnel due to technical issues affecting parcel deliveries both in and out of Europe. Delays could be expected as a result of the service disruption.
Spain
S.E. Correos y Telégrafos of Spain has advised that due to a transport stoppage delays are being experienced with logistic and the movement of inbound and outbound mail items.
Sweden
PostNord Sverige has advised that due to the sanctions imposed on Belarus and the Russian Federation by the EU, it has temporarily suspended services. Further updates will follow when the situation has improved.
Italy
Poste Italiane workers from the region of Veneto will launch a nationwide strike on 16th April. The strike is due to the deteriorating working conditions and an increase in job losses over the past ten years.
Japan
Due to limited flight capacity delays could be expected with the transportation of inbound and outbound mail to Japan.
France
La Poste of France has confirmed that following the announcement by the Prime Minister of the relaxation of public health measures throughout the country, services will return to normal across their whole network.
Poland
Poczta Polska of Poland wishes to advise that owing to the circumstances with the Russian Federation which is preventing the exchange of mail items, its postal services to and from the Russian Federation have been suspended.
