Due to heavy rainfall, many roads in some regions are difficult to reach, which may lead to delays in deliveries and collections.
Post Luxembourg has advised that the Luxembourg Government has extended the new restrictions which came into force on 26th November have been extended until 15th December 2020.
Post Luxembourg is making every effort to ensure the continuity of all services and letter and parcel deliveries, whilst respecting the safety guidelines and new measures aimed at reducing contacts and movements to a minimum. However, the safety measures in place for certain categories of staff across Luxembourg are liable to result in processing and delivery delays throughout the country.

Post Luxembourg has suspended signature on delivery for inbound items to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus and to keep staff and customers safe by avoiding social contact. Deliveries will be conducted via methods which restrict direct contact. For all mail items requiring a signature on delivery, the addressee’s signature will be replaced by the postal worker’s signature, together with the delivery code. Delivery delays may be experienced during this time.
