Iceland

Icelandic Post has advised that due to a storm on Friday 14th February, all outbound dispatches have been cancelled and most flights to/from Iceland have been cancelled or delayed. All roads to/from Reykjavik are closed. Domestic transport and distribution have also been cancelled in most areas including the Reykjavik area. 

As a result, delivery delays of at least 24-hours can be expected. 

Slovakia

Following a security incident, there was a restriction on operations at the International Mail Hub on Thursday 13th February, resulting in a one day delay. All operations have now returned to normal. 

Martinique

La Poste, the French Post Office has advised that a major strike has affected the French overseas department of Martinique for the past three weeks, causing delays to collection and delivery of all postal items. 

There is no end date for the strike at present. Delivery delays are likely to continue after the strike period due to a backlog of mail. 

Israel

Israel Post has confirmed they are dealing with a backlog of mail and parcel items due to an unforeseen increase of volumes. Items are being processed as quickly as possible and normal service is expected to resume at the end of the month.  

China

Unfortunately, due to the situation in China, some of our suppliers have implemented an embargo on all mail items to China with immediate effect.
